Articles must be submitted through the Editorial Manager® system, where you can also find Instructions for authors.

Review Process and Editorial Policy
Invitations and/or assignments of reviewers are made by the Editorial team and are addressed to all members of the scientific committee, but also to valuable specialists, experts on symposium topics, from research and academic education. Any communication between editors and reviewers is only possible via the Editorial Manager® system.
The peer review process begins as soon as the manuscript for the symposium has been submitted by uploading it to the Editorial Manager® platform.
Each submission is confirmed by one of the members of the editorial team and then the pre-selection process begins. At this stage, the members of the editorial team decide whether to reject the article directly or forward it to the reviewers for a thorough review. The reasons for the immediate rejection of a manuscript are as follows: plagiarism or the topic is not the focus of the proceedings.
If neither of the two cases applies, the manuscript is subjected to a single-blind peer review for scientific merit and originality. This is an essential part of the scientific publication that confirms the validity of the research article or literature review.
After receiving a decision from the reviewers, the managing editor may send the corresponding author one of the following decisions:
– Rejected: if there are significant concerns (other than fraud) about the quality of the scientific content of the paper and if the reviewers see no way to improve the article to make it suitable for publication.
– Accepted with minor/major revisions: when there are papers that show promise but need further corrections/revisions, and rewording. The revised manuscripts will undergo a new peer review process and follow the procedure.
– Accepted without changes: if the article is suitable for publication in its current form.
Publishing articles in an open-access proceeding should be a valuable process for knowledge in the field of technical textiles, and it is important that all parties involved in the publishing process adhere to and agree on ethical standards. For this reason, the editorial team participates in the community of users of the Similarity Check service for comparison purposes to ensure that the published content is original and reliable.
Please note that authors retain all copyrights to their contributions and should ensure that all who have made a significant contribution are credited as co-authors to share full responsibility for the content of the contribution.
Accepted manuscripts will be published as Open Access Proceedings by Sciendo (De Gruyter), with ISBN and DOI numbers for the conference proceedings and papers, being also a volume in the Sciendo series and indexed in various databases (https://sciendo.com/series/TTPF-B).
One of the advantages for authors of papers published in Open Access Proceedings is that citation tracking is guaranteed, and papers can be freely downloaded and cited.
